A Letter To My Two Year Old

Dear B,

The day you were born, you changed our lives. You’ve grown up so quickly and continue to grow in to a fabulous little boy, despite the near constant streams of bogeys.

The world is a big place, and although you’re small, you have the chance to make an impact. You are strong, thoughtful and kind, and the world needs more people like you.

You smile at everyone you meet, and you don’t judge. Some of the people you smile at each day may not have experienced any love for a long time. Your innocence could have brightened their day.

I hope, that as you grow older, you continue to grow in to a considerate gentleman. Remaining respectful of the small footprint of the world that you inherit. I’m not sure what’s out there for you, but I hope you thrive and prosper.

We, as your parents, promise to support your dreams and walk alongside you on your path. Whatever you choose to do, be happy. You do you. Forever. Remember to say “please” and “thank you”. Remember to be grateful and appreciative of everything.

You have taught me how to love again in a different way, you have taught me patience. You have taught me that there is nothing better than snuggles on the sofa with you. You have taught me that there is no place like home.

May the next 365 days be filled with more growth, more love and more fun.

We love you.

Your Mummy & Daddy
